This position primarily supports the Law Department's Environment Health & Safety Practice Group (EHS Law Group). and from time-to-time to assist other practice groups within the Engineering, Operations & Technology/SSG Practice Group (of which the EHS Law Group is a component) and/or the EO&T Practice Group V.P. The Responsibilities will include the following: With minimal supervision, maintain a financial management system for the EHS Law Group, including budget forecasting and development, compliance with annual targets, and integration with the Law Department budgeting process; assist in managing complex litigation or other projects, and interface with and support the internal Boeing customer's project management and metrics visibility systems; acquire and maintain a deep understanding of how the EHS Law Group does business, including interface with outside counsel and internal customers; maintain a system to track and report on legal matters to ensure on-time completion and executive visibility, including a system of status inputs and visibility meetings and reports for attorneys, the Litigation/Remediation Focal, the Chief Counsel, and the VP; maintain a system to track budget performance to plan and analyze deviation from plan for future adjustments and budgeting process improvements; understand internal customer business and program reporting process and develop data, presentations, and reports that integrate into and support their reporting processes; provide administrative support to the EHS Law Group. Serve as a BOLTS (Boeing Online Legal Tracking System) gatekeeper. Perform other miscellaneous law- department specific duties, such as managing legal files in accordance with Law Department policies. The successful candidate ideally will have a deep understanding of Boeing budgeting, project management, and program visibility processes and tools and be able to apply them independently to maintain a management system to organize and provide visibility on legal matters. A positive, constructive attitude is a must, as is strong leadership skills.

Level 2 - Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
