Staff Analyst 3
Analyst to join Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics team in a highly technical role within Everett Manufacturing Services. Responsible for developing and analyzing complex data solutions for Materials Management visibility products; understanding business processes; determining data sources and measures of process execution steps; developing visibility products using databases and analysis software (i.e., COGNOS, SQL); and analyzing final outputs to determine trends and areas for improvement. Under general supervision, assemble data from multiple sources using applicable schedules. Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations (e.g., export compliance, intellectual property agreements) and standard best practices to deliver informational or technical materials (e.g., proposals, briefings, management reviews, newsletters, status reports, technical papers, brochures) to customers (e.g., government, foreign entities, commercial businesses), partners, suppliers and Boeing employees. Participate with organizational leaders in the development and implementation of plans and objectives (e.g., long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives) to meet requirements. Contribute by gathering data from multiple sources to compile reports of moderate scope and complexity for management reviews and tracking performance to plan. Assist in the research and evaluation of organizational administrative issues of moderate scope and complexity. Perform a variety of support services (e.g., web design and maintenance, computing security, communications, policy and procedure review, process documentation, asset management, forms design and delivery). Support meetings and reviews to ensure that visibility is provided on appropriate and required information. Support leadership in determining the purpose and content of each meeting/ review, coordinate and compile briefings and utilize appropriate technologies to enable global interaction/ collaboration. Gather customer requirements for projects of moderate scope and complexity and ensure all requirements are met. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the project schedule and budget, assist in monitoring and tracking execution of the plan and communicate status of the plan. Products are reviewed for sound judgment and overall accuracy.

Basic Qualifications For ConsiderationDo you have a minimum of 2 years experience utilizing SQL server, Microsoft Access and Excel?

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
Requires customer focused, results oriented, strong technical aptitude; strong business intelligence/ analytical background with significant experience using SQL Server including queries, stored procedures, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages, table and database design; and advanced skills using Microsoft Access and Excel including the ability to mine data from business systems, compile and analyze data using databases and macros, and create dynamic linking relationships in multiple Microsoft Office applications. Prefer education and/or substantial experience in business intelligence, statistics or business administration; experience with IBM Cognos applications; advanced Visual Basic for Application (VBA) knowledge; strong project management skills; and supply chain management and manufacturing support experience.
