POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position reports directly to the Regional Toll Manager and is responsible for payment of all invoices and bills, researches and gathers data for administrative decisions and for use in preparation of local purchase orders, purchasing card transactions and purchase requisitions. Reviews, analyzes, and prepares drafts of memos and correspondence relating to ordering, receiving, and inventory of equipment and supplies. Responsible for the distribution of mail, equipment, and supplies through the supervision of the Toll Collection Couriers.
Compiles and analyzes data for the payment of bills and invoices for Toll Facilities and Regional Toll Office within the allotted time and maintains records for all such payments.
Researches and gathers data for purchasing supplies and equipment for purchasing card transactions, local purchase orders and purchase requisitions. Provides documentation for justification of Regional purchases, including required Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) information. Compiles data required to secure bids for service contracts.
Processes and distributes warehouse orders for toll facilities and regional office. Maintains regional inventory maintained at warehouse to ensure adequate level of supplies are kept on hand. Supervises couriers to ensure timely delivery of all supplies and equipment.
Acts as the Property Manager for all toll facilities and the Regional Office property on the Department of Transportation inventory. Maintains accurate records, initiates Property Management Report (PMR) actions as needed, and requests destruction of inoperable equipment. Conducts an exhaustive inventory annually at all toll facilities, the Regional Toll Office and technician locations.
Responsible for the fleet of vehicles assigned to the Region, maintains accurate records on vehicle assignment. Monitors service dates for all vehicles and ensures scheduled and repair maintenance is obtained. Reassigns vehicles based on toll facility requirements. Prepares and submits in final form vehicle logs for all vehicles assigned to the Region. Orders non-revenue and gas plates as required.
Ensures all plaza employees have proper uniforms and nameplates. Coordinates uniform orders and uniform inventory with employment contractor.
