Description
Key Role: Provide senior-level counsel and advice specific to the development of pricing strategy for multi-million dollar US federal government procurements and provide leadership across the department in the delivery of strategic pricing services, including competitive and market cost analyses and price strategy development and implementation. Partner with the capture team to research, collect, and analyze data with a mandate to prepare competitive price point analyses specific to an opportunity. Perform market cost analyses relevant to the labor skills sought and shape terms and conditions of the solicitation in addition to the evaluation of the approach for the procurement. Collaborate with the capture and proposal team in developing and briefing pricing strategy to senior executives of the firm. Provide leadership for the implementation of a pricing strategy towards the development of the cost and price proposal. Author tailored cost narratives, basis of estimates, and strategic cost assumptions to maximize price reasonableness, cost realism, and contract financial performance.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: -10 years of experience in a professional work environment -5+ years of experience with competitive price point analysis and development or in a related financial analyst role -5+ years of experience in partnering with executive leadership to prepare competitive pricing strategies for responses to the US federal government. -Experience with effectively developing competitive pricing strategies tailored to RFP requirements -Knowledge of relevant external government regulations or standards, including FAR and CAS used to develop price proposals -Knowledge of contract formation, RFP structure, and contracting basis, including CPFF, CPAF, T&M, and FFP -Ability to prioritize work assignments -BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Contract Management, or Economics
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with researching FOIA data through third party vendors, including INPUT and FEDSOURCES -Experience with developing or delivering price strategy presentations and analyses to senior executives and decision makers preferred -Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint a plus -Experience in a pricing environment in Defense, Security, or Civil -Ability to obtain a security clearance a plus -Ability to interact effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
