Roles and responsibilities :- * Maintain the firm's Global Monitoring System for reporting personal investment holdings * Serve as a helpdesk on personal investment related queries and assist in updating partners' investments in the firm's databases * Assess proposed external non-EY positions for the Country Managing Partner's approval * Update Independence Lists including reporting and identification of potential new entries (audit clients) to the lists * Manage the firm's annual personal independence confirmation procedures and processes * Manage the completion of independence and conflict checks, processes and database work * Complete the independence and conflict process for acceptance of new clients and issue of independence and conflict clearances to client teams * Oversee and supervise staff working on firm's centralised independence compliance processes and databases * Monitor and validate family trees in Global Independence System * Prepare and deliver training on independence - related topics as needed * Provide independence advice and answering ad hoc queries on Quality & Risk Management topics * Able to become a subject matter expert in the Independence rules that govern these compliance processes
Requirements :- * Confidence in dealing with all levels of partners and staff, including senior members of the firm * Proven people management experience to work with people across all levels of the firm * Strong research and analytical skills * Strong communications skills * Ability to multi-task successfully * Ability to work independently and as a team * Ability to work under pressure *
