This candidate understands and can perform all system engineering tasks from design synthesis to operation and maintenance beginning with concepts and basic mission need identification. Plans and performs technical duties on new and varied system design and development problems where only general objectives are stated. Acts as an internal expert and represents the organization to external groups, agencies, customers, stockholders and vendors. Coordinates broad phases of projects and performs advanced development work. Capable of life-cycle planning and coordinates plans with all related activities of other projects and departments.
Provide detailed baseline assessments of the processes and a recommended systems approach to address any deficiencies discovered. Integrate approved recommendations, lead programs, and provide technical management of Systems Engineering activities. Leverage functional expertise from various sub-business areas into an overarching strategy to achieve multiple objectives across a portfolio of programs. Develop and analyze requirement defined by the customer. Map the requirements to a determined capability and manage these throughout the project.
Provides expertise and direction in the development or modification of complex software programs to enhance an operating system. Provides functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware and software operating systems for the organization's products. Responsible for the instruction, assigning, and overseeing the performance of less experienced software systems engineers. Coordinates the activities of the software engineering department with other sections of the corporation's information systems operation. May train and supervise subordinate systems engineers. Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering or related field) and seven to nine years of related experience. Apply for this job:
