Position Overview & Responsibilities:
Fleishman-Hillard Japan -- a recognized leader in global communications -- seeks a talented human resources professional to join our Asia Pacific team. Based in our Tokyo office, this professional will serve as the strategic and hands-on human resources liaison to the staff at Fleishman-Hillard Japan, Blue Current Japan, and VOX Global Japan. Responsibilities of the position include: * Proactively assess training and development needs and propose internal / external solutions. Implement practical effective training programs to increase staff development. * Facilitate and advance on-going retention strategies, succession planning programs and workplace initiatives that continue to promote a productive and great-place-to-work environment. * Provide guidance to management and staff in the Tokyo offices on human resources practices, policy interpretation, problem resolution and compliance * Manage additional human resources operations including compensation and benefits, performance management, staffing, and employee relations * Report to senior vice president, talent development in Singapore. * Lead an ongoing recruiting program for the Japan operations. Recommend strategies and coordinate initiatives with the APAC regional Talent Development team.
Qualifications:
* College degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related disciplines * Bilingual in English and Japanese; experience working within a multinational organization * A minimum 10 years of human resources generalist experience; preferably with some professional services organizations * Proven ability to consult with and add value to senior management executives on all issues relating to human resources and talent development is critical * Solid recruiting experience within Japan with expertise in candidate networking, sourcing, and recruiting tactics including use of social networking sites * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Solid presentation skills * Sound knowledge of Japanese labor laws and other regulatory practices * Ability to function in a fast-paced dynamic environment Interested candidates must send their resume and cover letter to: .jp.
