Plans and directs all aspects of the company’s tax policies and objectives. Responsible for managing the tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance functions, while working to minimize tax liability and maximize tax profits. Prepares accurate federal and state income/franchise tax returns and oversees the completion of non-income tax returns in order to minimize the tax obligations of the company. Providing tax expertise in the areas of acquisition, reorganizations, dispositions, and consolidated returns. Supporting the Company with sound tax research, planning, and advice on major issues and disputes Preparing financial statement provisions pursuant to APB, FASB, and SEC pronouncements
