Tax Specialist 3\4

Domestic Income Tax Specialist or Project Manager (depending on experience) with multiple federal and state income tax responsibilities. The individual will be part of the Corporate Tax Department at The Boeing Company. This role will have involvement in various aspects of federal and state taxes, with an emphasis in the following areas: taxation of employee benefits, the research and development tax credit, state tax return compliance, and other domestic tax planning initiatives. The individual is not expected to have experience in all of these areas, but instead, have a solid corporate tax background. Must be a highly motivated individual with a demonstrated understanding of federal income tax law, the ability to manage multiple projects at one time, and a willingness to learn new areas of tax. Qualified candidates will have excellent analytical, research, and communication skills. This person will need to team with senior tax management, corporate tax team members, financial/cost accountants, business unit personnel, and outside consultants. Big 4 tax experience is a plus.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have experience in the corporate income tax area (i.e. 1120 compliance, corporate tax consulting, research)?

Typical Education/Experience
Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Job related information
Qualified candidates should possess 4-6 years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience. A bachelors degree in accounting is required. MBA, MS in Taxation, law degree and/or C.P.A. are a plus. Strong experience with Corptax or other return preparation software is a plus.
