Technical Specialist I
-Advise on material flow concepts and improvements using Material Handling Systems for warehouses. -Advise on data architecture for MHE-controls and interfaces to Warehouse Management (WMS) host systems. -Monitor and support proper function of the interfaces between WMS/PKMS and MHE automation controls (WCS). -Responsible for the on-site day to day support of the MHE automation control system in the McDonough, GA warehouse which will include being available to provide off hours support when needed. -Work in close cooperation with the WCS support in other W&D location, especially Jonesville, NC and offsite IT teams to ensure that corporate standards are followed. This includes following SDLC procedures including analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, implementation and follow-up. -As neccesary provide WCS back-up support for other locations. -Support the IT infrastructure resource when needed to support the warehouse inclusive of servers, printers, PC terminals, scanners and other devices as necessary.
