In addition, Commonwealth Brands, Inc. manufactures Premier, McClintock and Bali Shag cigarette tobacco. The Company also manufactures a range of tobacco related products, which include Premier, Rizla and El Rey cigarette tubes and E-Z Wider and Joker cigarette papers. Commonwealth Brands is headquartered in Bowling Green, KY and employees approximately 900 people.
Commonwealth Brands is seeking highly motivated sales professionals to influence purchasing habits of adult consumers by selling CBI brands effectively; with particular emphasis on increasing our brand availability, adult consumer awareness and trial of products, across a range of outlets. In addition, our Territory Managers will implement sales programs and develop relationships with retailers with the goal of becoming the preferred consultants on all tobacco issues.
Principal Responsibilities: Ensure brand availability and awareness of CBIs products. Ensure all calls are visited in a logical, geographic sequence to achieve the required call frequency. Effectively manage territory. Input accurate data and update/download electronically on a daily basis. Manage and safeguard company assets including company vehicle, car stock, computer equipment and contingency fund.
Requirements:
Knowledge & Skills Required: Excellent influencing skills. Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. PC literate: Company CRM, email use, etc. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Other Requirements: Must be 21 years of age, a valid drivers license and proven driving record. The ability to lift and carry 40 lbs or more, bend and squat repetitively. Travel including overnight stays, is required. The successful candidate must live within the assigned sales territory. Qualified candidates must successfully meet the following screening criteria: drug, background, criminal, motor vehicle records, credit check, references, previous employment and education verification.
Academic Qualifications: College degree preferred or minimum of 2 years consumer product or business to business sales experience.
