Test Engineer, Senior
Title: Test Engineer, Senior Location: Virginia-McLean
Key Role: Create and document test processes, scenarios, traceability, requirements, and design feedback and scripts for an over the counter processing system. Create and execute test scripts, including positive and negative to identify and analyze defects. Work with the business users to test the system and obtain user acceptance sign-off. Perform an internal quality assurance check on all deliverables to ensure that all deliverables are complete, accurate, and adhere to the client's standards. Adhere to the client's SDLC and CMMI Level 3 processes and use the Rational tool set. Demonstrate experience with CMMI Level 3 processes and the Rational tool set and apply experience with processes similar to CMMI Level 3 and other testing tools. Basic Qualifications: -4 years of experience with Web-based testing -3 years of experience with writing test cases and test methodologies -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with supporting requirements traceability -Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project -Experience with Rational ClearQuest -Experience with Microsoft Share Point -Experience with Visio, Rational Robot, Rational Test Manager, Quick Test Pro, Serena Version Manager and Tracker, and the Mercury Suite of Test Tools -Knowledge of Section 508 preferred -Ability to translate information, develop insights, and work alongside clients at client sites -Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -Possession of excellent leadership, analysis, documentation, data gathering skills -BA or BS degree in a related field preferred
