Trade Compliance Specialist position with a special emphasis on US Customs work within a growing, private company north of Boston. The Compliance Specialist will work for a Manager and be responsible for US Customs compliance related to international shipments. The Compliance Specialist will communicate with inside and outside brokers, customers and departments within the organization. Working knowledge of US Customs regulations is required for this position (a Customs Broker license or coursework is preferred). Strong working knowledge of a tier 1 ERP system similar to SAP or Oracle or Deltek is also preferred. Familiarity with HTS (Harmonize Tariff Schedule) is also strongly preferred.
