Job Summary
The Vice President, Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis is a key member of Iron Mountain finance leadership team with primary responsibility for Corporate-wide financial planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis.
Essential Functions
- Partner with the Iron Mountain CFO in developing the long-term financial strategy for the enterprise. Develop the multi-year financial planning model leveraged for financial strategy development, analyzing emerging business trends and operational drivers. Partner with the SVP of Strategic Planning and Business Unit CFO’s to integrate financial planning with strategic and operational drivers.
- Direct the process for developing the annual operating budget. This process involves communication and coordination with the North America, International and Digital divisions as well as leaders of corporate support functions. Interact with senior corporate and divisional management in the development of targets, assumptions and strategic issues to be incorporated into the annual budget and planning process.
- Lead the company through a global CPM (Corporate Performance Management) design and implementation. This position is a co-sponsor and key leader for the transition from the Oracle Financial Analyzer (OFA) application to a new Oracle/Hyperion based solution
- Design and direct the preparation of meaningful financial analyses which aid senior management decisions and support a range of accounting and financial activities including, Divisional Financial Reviews, Analyst Conference Calls and Board of Directors presentations
- Oversee and improve the Capital Committee - a key capital governance and reporting process for Iron Mountain.
- Provide FP&A support for the CSG (Corporate Service Group) functional areas – reporting, forecasting, budgeting and decision support
- Partner with senior leaders (CIO, SVP Real Estate, VP Procurement) directing major initiatives directed at driving significant cost efficiencies in support of long-term planning. Provide thought leadership to change improvement efforts
- Partner with HR function in key areas of financial analysis (including compensation design)
- Develop a competent, effective and motivated staff. Direct and coach to deliver against accountabilities at a high standard.
Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- BA/BS Degree, Masters Degree preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid organization skills
- Good communication sills (both written and oral)
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Experience with Oracle Financials
- Strong financial planning experience required (international experience preferred)
- Experience with a CPM implementation or large scale project strongly preferred
- Prior experience building and leading high performance teams in an operating finance environment
