VP/Director, Sales Solutions Engineering
Monster provides intelligent search that matches jobs and candidates. The 6Sense Knowledge Base (KB) is an ontology whose objects and associated categories form the backbone of our intelligent search engine. We are seeking a talented VP/Director, Sales Solutions Engineering who understand semantic search to help our sales team position and sell our 6Sense Product suite comprised of cloud based search services. If you are interested in product sales engineering for natural language and are trained in semantic search or related field, and are interested in learning more about the wide range of jobs that exist in the world, then this might be the job for you.

The VP/Director, Sales Solutions Engineering manages a team of technical and product sales solutions engineers who are the primary resources for the field sales on product capabilities and customer product sales support. The VP/Director of Sales Solutions Engineering is responsible for actively driving and managing the sales pipeline and forecast for the 6Sense Product suite. They will be the primary conduit and interface for the field sales force working in conjunction with the sales team to be the product advocate. The VP/Director of Sales Solutions Engineering must be able to articulate product positioning, capabilities and have a fundamental technical understanding of the product offering and domain space. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of semantic technologies and the ability to create and articulate the ROI and business case for 6Sense product suite. The individual must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle and assist the sales team in customer positioning and value proposition. The VP/Director, Sales Solutions Engineering key skills and tasks include:
* Communicates effectively with customers, and sales and marketing teams on product capabilities and features.
* Build and maintain with sale the opportunity pipeline and customer status
* Primary interface with sales to evaluate opportunities and drive opportunities to closure
* Work with customers to create ROI and demonstrate value proposition
* Respond to RFP/RFI and create unsolicited proposals
* Perform senior level and industry wide sales presentation and demos on product suite
* Manage a team of product and technical sales engineers
* Build Sales tools and kits to assist sales in positioning and selling 6Sense products and services
* Can create product configuration and pricing based on customer needs
* Works with Partner team to integrate 6Sense into 3rd parties that drive 6Sense revenue
* Be a recognized leader in semantic search technologies and have in-depth knowledge of the field
* Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements :
Educational background:

* Minimum BA/BS and well-rounded education
* Must have previous Product Sales Engineering experienceRelevant skills and experience:
* 8-10 years experience in technical sales support or product sales support
* 5-10 years experience managing teams of sales engineers and demonstrated ability to drive business to closure
* Excellent understanding of semantic search, cloud computing, natural language processing, text retrieval, information sciences, and formal logic
* Experience working with taxonomies or ontologies highly desirable
* Strong language skills (multi-language is plus), especially excellent understanding of syntax, morphology, semantics, and discourse patterns
* Ability to interface effectively with different levels and personalities at the business unit
* Ability and interest in analyzing, understanding, and organizing information in fields outside your current areas of expertise
* Strong logical, analytical abilities with a high level of common sense
* Very well organized, with excellent follow-through
* Travel up to 50%
