This position handles telephonic inquiries from Petitioners, Beneficiaries, Attorneys, or representatives of community based organizations regarding a wide range of topics and NVC procedures. Must provide professional quality customer service in a fast paced environment where priorities are subject to rapid changes. Must be able to understand and respond to inquiries regarding fee and document collection for Immigrant Visa Petitions, as well as non-immigrant visa petition processing as it pertains to the National Visa Center. Must also have the ability to recognize when there is a problem with a particular case. Reviews the completeness and accuracy of various forms and supporting documents in accordance with Department of State guidelines and procedures. Required Skills
Basic Computer and analytical skills (Ability to type 30 WPM) Good interpersonal and communication skills and strong English skills. Strong attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment. Must be capable of working in a multi-task environment with rapidly changing priorities and have a very good command of the written English Language. Must have the ability to readily adapt to changes in the work environment. Knowledge of World Geography is desirable. Required Experience
High School Diploma or a GED. Three (3) to Five (5) years of relevant experience. Experience in an Office/Clerical environment is desired.
