VP, Director Web Analytics

KETCHUM GLOBAL RESEARCH NETWORK

The VP, Director Web Analytics works closely with research specialists in the Ketchum Global Research Network. The position reports to the Partner and Managing Director, Global Research. The Director will work closely with account teams and clients to provide guidance in research and measurement of social media. This person will also help solidify our combined offering in social media monitoring and measurement and serve as the chief spokesperson and advocate internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

* Managing the implementation of a wide variety of client campaign reporting, testing, and measurement projects in the social media space, ensuring Ketchum has "state-of- the-art" capabilities in this area
* Participates in or leads new client acquisition and new business pitches. Expand the business by: identifying new opportunities for measurement, research and analytics within existing client accounts; and establishing relationships with prospective clients related to social media
* Improves the Agency's understanding of the social media space
* Leads insight generation based on measurement reporting and analysis of social media
* Aware of regional, industry, and global trends in social media and educates the agency
* 65% billable
* Works to position Ketchum as a leader in social media measurement

Requirements:

* The role requires a unique blend of strategic and tactical skills - someone with attention to detail, yet is able to draw "big picture" conclusions and make actionable business recommendations based on an understanding of strategic research goals
* For VP at least 9 years total relevant work experience with at least 3 years in digital media measurement
* Thorough understanding of and experience with online (web) metrics and knowledge of various web measurement technologies as well as their continued evolution
* Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, market research, public relations, or related field; Masters preferred for VP
* Market research/analyst experience including web analytics
* Ability to explain and sell business concepts and analytic findings to internal and external executive management
* Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship skills
* Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and communications skills
* Active curiosity, must enjoy gathering and digging deeply into data to identify issues, patterns and solving problems
