About the company : Our client is a major investment bank in New York City. Job description : Position Purpose: Contribute subject matter expertise, project management and analysis to support successful execution of Capital Markets Operations ticipate in projects that may involve any/all of the following drivers: operational risk management, quality improvement, regulatory soundness, cost reduction, process re-engineering and technology enhancement/introduction. Participate in project teams of various sizes. Offer Operations subject matter expertise to project teams. Perform analysis of data, processes and systems. Research, identify and document requirements. Formulate, propose and implement solutions. Work efficiently with a view to high-quality work product and quick time-to-market solutions. Liaise with Operations management and staff to understand their roles and challenges. Liaise with IT management and staff to interpret / clarify requirements. Support system testing and creation of user documentation. Who we are looking for : Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Minimum 8 years experience in US Capital Markets Broker/Dealer Operations. Expertise in Equity & FX operations and the lifecycle of an equity trade. Specific knowledge of Front to back office equity trade processing and settlement processes. Prior knowledge and experience with Broadridge (i.e. formerly ADP) family of products (e.g. BPS). Expertise in Global Custody (incl. Euroclear), Global Clearing and Securities Lending. Previous involvement in formally governed/managed project teams. Demonstrated success in the execution of Operations-related projects. Comfortable managing a portfolio of projects with competing priorities. What's on offer : A competitive base plus bonus.
