We're seeking a hands-on Vice President of Sales and Operations responsible for 50 plus stores, who is absolutely passionate about retailing and developing people. A combination of strong leadership and organizational skills, teambuilding, profit - driven and hard work are keys to success in this position. This is a broad - based management position, overseeing all aspects of store - level operations and customer satisfaction, including, but not limited to:
- Leadership of regional, district and store management team. - Presents a daily presence in stores, reviewing, evolving and enhancing operations, working directly with the store operations team and providing feedback and direction to the merchandising and supply chain. - Ability to play a key role in national expansion. - Understands retail best practices, current policies, technology and shifting consumer trends. - Knowledge of competitive environment and is aware of information affecting business and organizational areas. - Create a culture of accountability, pride and ownership, strong morale and a dedication to customer service. - Set clear priorities and expectations, provide focus and eliminate roadblocks. - Align projects and communicate critical priorities in support of the company mission and vision.
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years in retail sales and multi - unit operations, having managed at least 20 stores is preferred. Strong sales background with at least 5+ years in high-level sales leadership role. Strong background in customer service. Excellent Written and oral communication skills with the ability to present an image that commands respect from subordinates, peers and outsiders. Fundamental understanding of finance and accounting concepts Strong grasp of Human Resource practices, with a history of seeking top notch talent selection.
