An exciting opportunity has opened for aRegional Sales Managerto join an international, leading supplier ofwater filtrationproducts and solutions.
Job Description * This is a home-based, outside sales position that offer tremendous growth opportunity withlarge revenue earnings potential * Use excellent sales, communication and presentation skills to effectively manage a sales territory consisting of 5 states * Responsible for managing sales of water treatment products to an account base, as well as managingindependent representatives and distributorsthroughout the territory * Initiate and close sales to a client base consisting ofend-users, OEMs and specifiers. Clients are from the industrial and agricultural industries, and specifically consist of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, municipalities, etc. * 60% - 80% travel within territory * Generate periodic sales metrics and reporting * Maintain short and long-term sales plans and forecasts * Occasional out-of-territory travel required for sales training sessions * Compensation for the position includes abase salary plus commission, car allowance, full benefits package(medical, dental, 401K, vacation, etc.) * Report directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing
All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration * Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Sales or a related field. Candidates who do not have a degree but possess relevant experience will be considered as well * DO NOT APPLYunless you have at least 4 years experience sellingwater filtration/water treatmentproducts * 8+ years successful direct outside sales experience * Experience calling onirrigation, industrial and/or municipal customers * A history of cultivating and developing a new sales territory * Basic technical knowledge of process systems * A good and safe driving record
