Western Range Manager (LISC)
The Western Range (WR) Manager will be responsible for leading Boeings on site operations and logistics support for the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS) Integrated Support Contract (LISC) at the WR at Vandenberg AFB, CA. The WR Manager will be responsible for employees performing launch operations, maintenance operations, capacity planning, including the coordination, scheduling, audit and resolution of problems related to launch range support requirements. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of all mission requirements flow processes. This position should be knowledgeable of the processing of mission documents in the Universal Documentation System (UDS) to include interpretation and implementation of the UDS. The WR Manager will work closely with the sustainment manager to substantially improve supply chain processes focusing on reduced cycle times and shortages and increased focus on customer satisfaction. The WR Manager will also establish working relationships with the ER Manager at Cape Canaveral AFS / Patrick AFB to establish common processes and effective customer interfaces.

The Western Range Launch Site Manager should have a demonstrated history / possess: Large scale enterprise management - multi-billion dollar programs supported by large-scale organizations, in excess of 1,000 personnel; Experience as a Director level U.S. Air Force Officer, Senior U. S. Government Civilian, or DoD Contractor is desirable; Interfacing with the customer at the general officer equivalent level; Establishing and maintaining Government-contractor working relationships in the launch site environment at the highest organization levels; Overseeing launch site operations with complex customer-contractor interfaces; Establishing a launch site operational tempo that ensures effective communications; Achieving launch site schedule milestones while preserving multiple competing priorities; Assuming control of on-going operations, aligning with future needs/requirements and implementing necessary changes to meet future objectives; Defining launch site tactical directives that are actionable, achievable, and measurable; Bringing geographically distributed systems into an integrated configuration that drives a capability based approach to future systems management-trading capability upgrades, modernization, replacement, and retirement options. Prefer Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 12 to 14 years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position is expected to be performed at Vandenberg AFB, CA. Offers are contingent pending contract award. Ability to obtain interim Security Clearance prestart & final Security Clearance post start. U.S. Citizenship required.
