If you like working in the hospitality industry, you'll love this gig: Director of Romance at Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Cabo.

The current titleholder of this coveted position is Esmeralda Silva. As the Director of Romance, Esmeralda helps would-be grooms plan the perfect engagement scenario. Things like moonlight movies on the beach, singing mermaids swimming through the surf, chartering a private yacht or hiring an ultra-light plane to fly over Las Ventanas at a designated time with an "I love you" message. Esmeralda can customize the perfect romantic dream vacation, including a virtual wish list of spa and bath menus.

Esmeralda has recently implemented one of the hotel’s most popular new services--Sleeping With The Stars. Guests enjoy a night under the open sky on their own private rooftop terrace or penthouse suite overlooking the sea—complete with full furnishings and comfortable bedding. Esmeralda handles all the minute details to ensure everything is comme il faut.

The perfectly named Director of Romance took the job after seven years at the W Mexico City (off Reforma Boulevard in the trendy Polanco neighborhood). As the hotel's new Cupid, her Sleeping With The Stars experience has delighted lovers from around the world.

Couples who want to tie the knot can have a wedding ceremony on the beach and reception at The Plaza, a patio space that overlooks the Sea of Cortez and accommodates up to 60 guests.
