    What you'll do...

    We are looking for an exceptional digital communications professional to join our Walmart Health & Wellness team as a Senior Manager, Digital Patient Communications. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging Walmart Health patients through digital communication channels to provide a frictionless patient experience and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a strong background in digital communication strategies and project management.

    Key Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Define strategy for multi-channel digital communications, including SMS, email, and mobile app notifications for Walmart Health clinical services.

    • Collaborate with clinical and business operations stakeholders to understand and define communication priorities to achieve business objectives.

    • Develop engaging content and work with product, engineering, design, customer support, and operations to implement consistent communications experiences.

    • Manage and prioritize the communications roadmap to ensure timely and effective delivery of messages.

    • Monitor, evaluate and communicate effectiveness of campaigns and messages.

    • Utilize project management skills to plan, execute, and track communication initiatives.

    • Be familiar with current trends and best practices in digital communications.

    Evaluates the ongoing effectiveness of multiple complex communication plans, programs, and initiatives by

    • consulting with key stakeholders

    • soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness

    • applying key learnings from internal and external benchmarking; participating in meetings with assigned functional areas to present status updates on communication processes, requests, and communications sent

    • visiting field leadership to ensure communications are meeting field expectations.

    Drives the execution of multiple complex business plans and projects by

    • identifying customer and operational needs

    • developing and communicating business plans and priorities

    • removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance

    • providing resources

    • identifying performance standards

    • measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly

    • developing contingency plans

    • demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

    Drives strategic communications across the business by

    • consulting with senior company leadership and executives and participating in cross-functional teams to determine appropriate communication strategy and evaluate business needs and desired outcomes

    • ensuring continuity of business plans

    • serving as a key stakeholder and as a communication subject matter expert in initiatives

    • drafting, designing, reviewing, and editing communications and presentations

    • advising on the creation of communication elements related to the divisional plan

    • developing and executing plans to distribute communications.

    Provides communication expertise for the business by

    • leading cross-functional communication teams

    • creating and providing status updates to key leaders

    • counseling functional area leaders and associates on writing and executing effective communications

    • managing competing communication priorities for assigned business areas.

    Identifies and implements new and innovative communication strategies and tools by

    • staying current on industry best practices and innovation

    • researching conflicting current, past, or future messaging and approaches to identify potential risks

    • determining the most effective methods of communication

    • overseeing the implementation of social media and digital communication formats and tools

    • influencing global internal communications functions.

    Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by

    • identifying customer and operational needs

    • developing and communicating business plans and priorities
