  • Position Summary...

    What you'll do...

    Sam's Club Product team is looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to drive visibility and improvements within Sam's Club Product Operations PMO. As a Senior Manager , Program Manager , you will have accountability to one or more portfolios. These responsibilities will center on initial intake/prioritization and ongoing accountability. Intake and prioritization is the initial introduction into the portfolio and sets the foundation for future accountability and success.

    About the Team

    As a member of the Sam's Product Operation team , you will be a trusted advisor to senior leadership with visibility across the entire portfolio. You will work closely with senior leadership on items such as portfolio/program deliverables , Quarterly Business Reviews, Portfolio Health, and more.

    What You'll Do:

    • Manage the Portfolio Intake process.

    • Align programs, projects and operations to strategic objectives.

    • Provide recommendations around m easur ing , rank ing, and prioritiz ing programs and projects.

    • Collaborate to balance multiple priorities including unexpected projects that surface.

    • C onsistent review cadences with trusted data points.

    • Work with the Experience Team to d efine KPI and targets for the Portfolio.

    • Partner with the Data team to build a Portfolio Score card, validation and reporting .

    • Track progress through setting up the right cadences and report progress against OKRs to teams, cross functional stakeholders and Walmart leadership.

    • Provide accomplishments and key portfolio metrics for All Hands and Townhalls and Quarterly reviews

    • Lead a team of up to 8 program managers that support initiatives within your portfolio areas of responsibility

    What You'll Bring:

    Ongoing communication and assessment of the portfolio is critical to realizing strategic goals. The below deliverables will support the responsibilities listed above:

    • Intake assessments and insights

    • Planning deliverables

    • Portfolio reporting and Scorecard

    • Prioritization model (including leadership alignment and understanding)

    • Establish standard reporting template (s)

    • Monthly wins & accomplishment for Portfolio

    • Portfolio P&L governance

    • Prepare Business Reviews and Deep Dive, Portfolio specific materials.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience successfully implementing a Continuous Improvement program.

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

    • Background in Retail or eCommerce

    • Tech program management

    • People leader

    The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

    Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

    Minimum Qualifications...

    2 years' experience leading cross-functional teams.

    3 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years' experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.
