Provide financial statements quarterly with accuracy and legal compliance
Organize and update financial records
Prepare documentation for external auditors
Manage payroll functions, financial statements, accounts payable, basic job cost, account analysis, accruals, year-end audits
Manage and monitor accounting procedures for compliance
Provide support for the controller with period-end close accruals and journal entries and assist in various duties and responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate various financial and operational business controls and GAAP
Reconcile complex general ledgers accounts, verifying accurate GL balances and ensuring proper and relevant support documentation
Perform month end closing duties
Compile AR and sales reports
Identify and maintain fixed assets
Accounting, General ledger, Reconciliation, cash application, cash reconciliation, sales and use tax, treasury management
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-Need ERP experience (SAP is a plus)
-Must have general accounting knowledge/experience in a corporate environment, no mom and pop (JE, month end, reconciliations, GL, etc.)
-Must have sales & use tax experience
-Must have treasury management experience
-Must have experience dealing with cash ( reconciliations of cash, clearing cash daily, applying payments)
-Must have Accounting Degree
-Excel - MUST HAVE pivot tables and formulas - would like v look ups as well - ask if people have SQL experience
-Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
