Staff Accountant for continually growing Manufacturing. They are looking for a person to handle account reconciliations and other monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation duties for this Staff Accountant role. This role is for someone who wants to perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. • General ledger, month end balance sheet account reconciliations

• Prepare analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management to report on

• Assist in preparation of annual budgeting and forecasting

• Responsible for GL account and month end analysis as well as journal entries

• Manage intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

• Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

• Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation

• Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers

• Perform the month end close and produce journal entries

• Recurring journal entries maintenance and account reconciliation

• Participate in various department-wide initiatives and ad hoc reporting

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

• Proficient with Excel creating vlook ups and pivot tables

• 3 - 6 years of recent and relevant accounting experience with experience handling account reconciliations.

• Accounting experience ideally from manufacturing or distribution industries
