Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description

We're looking for an Medical Accounting Manager candidate with a knack for establishing and regulating an organization's accounting and finance procedures. Candidates who want to feel appreciated in their day-to-day work and be rewarded for their efforts will be interested in this position. Taking charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, assisting in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties will be essential for this Accounting Manager.

Financial Statements: Assisting with the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Reports Preparation: Play a crucial role in preparing comprehensive reports that contribute to informed decision-making within the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation preferred)

Proven experience in accounting within the healthcare industry (MUST HAVE Previous Medical Accounting)

Strong leadership and team management skills

Expertise in general ledger management and financial reporting

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• HealthCare Analytics experience required

• 3+ years of recent relevant financial experience

• Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
