    Position Overview:

    Serves as the resource for clinical workflows in the electronic health record (eHR) system, and provides support to physicians in the use of eHR and other technologies, including eHR onboarding and training, and proficiency maintenance and enhancement. Assists with new eHR functionality and upgrades, and applies best practices and experience to effectively address complex clinical/technical issues in diverse healthcare delivery environments.

    NOTE

    Work from Home parameters: While this position has a classification of Work from Home Eligible the department requirement is that this individual be on-site 75% of the time and can have flexibility to work from home the remaining 25% of scheduled time. This will be discussed in greater detail during the interview process.

    Job Description :

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's: Business and/or Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Computer Sciences or related field. or equivalent education/experience

    EXPERIENCE

    • 2 years progressively responsible experience in clinical operations, applications support/information services, medical practice support and/or management, physician relationship management, training and/or education or liaison role.

    • 2 years experience in the healthcare industry and/or healthcare delivery.

    • 2 years experience with using electronic health record system and/or clinical information systems.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • Familiar with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, etc.) as it relates to healthcare delivery.

    • Understands hospital and/or ambulatory healthcare operations.

    • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts and information to technical and non-technical users.

    • Demonstrates a proactive approach in identifying and addressing issues and concerns.

    • Collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various stakeholders to problem solve and achieve desired results/outcome.

    • Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions.

    • Ability to communicate through verbal and written means, and to present information to a variety of audiences.

    • Ability to bring individuals together to resolve differences/issues or to achieve a common understanding or acceptance of a solution.

    • Organization skills to effectively manage and/or re-prioritize activities and projects to meet deadlines wihle maintaining a high degree of responsiveness.

    • Ability to establish trust and credibility, and to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.

    • Demonstrates respect for cultural and linguistic differences and promotes an inclusive work environment.

    • Demonstrates initiative in providing feedback/input to improve workflow/processes.

    Pay Range is $35.52 to $53.28 / hour

    The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
