Key years of experience in business plan development, direct experience with academic institutions and health systems, sourcing new referral avenues, partnership across numerous areas within the acute care hospital and ambulatory/medical group operations and leadership to drive improved continuity of care for patients and referral partners through SSM Health St. Louis leading academic growth. This leader will exude skill at navigating a matrixed health system, developing creative solutions to drive clinical program growth, lead with optimism and a positive demeanor and leverage the strengths of the collaborating leadership team to achieve regional goals. Master's prepared candidates strongly encouraged.

    Job Summary:

    This is NOT a remote position. Interested candidates must live in the metro St. Louis, MO area or be willing to relocate to the area.

    Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Evaluates business opportunities and builds effective relationships in a dynamic and matrixed environment. Interacts with regional, system, hospital and medical group leadership and must demonstrate a strong executive presence, presentation skills and history of collaboration and bringing together teams

    • Identifies and fosters business development opportunities and develops strategies to advance the clinical program growth, outreach, and expansion initiatives.

    • Collaborates and leads to develop strategic plans and evaluate all aspects of academic growth opportunities

    • Direct partnership with academic chairs, leadership, and faculty to expand access for patients, new program development and outreach to expand the academic footprint of SLUCare within SSM Health

    • Review, create and evaluate market research, financial analysis, and revenue expansion tactics

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience or education

    EXPERIENCE

    • Seven years' experience, with two years' in leadership
