    As an Asset Management - Hedge Fund Investment Product Specialist - Vice President within J.P. Morgan Asset Management, you will be responsible for coordinating activities and tasks associated with the planning and execution of fund/institutional account launches, liquidations, and restructurings. You will also be involved in documenting operational processes, designing and implementing control environments, vendor onboarding and management, and other additional tasks. You will interface with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and communicate impacts and implement initiatives. You will also provide support to staff to update processes, procedures and supporting functional and fund documentation. Your role will also involve representing the team as new regulation is implemented, and assist in determining the impact. You will develop status reports, issues logs and other event tracking and reporting tools, and author communications to support initiatives and effectively communicate to a wide range of activities. You will establish, maintain, and optimize relationships with various groups across the organization.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate activities and tasks associated with the planning and execution of: Fund / Institutional account launches, liquidations, and restructurings, Documenting operational processes (examples: day-to-day trade flows, cross-alternatives sales, and currency hedging), Designing and implementing control environments in order to ensure appropriate conflict mitigation, Vendor onboarding and management (example: customized order management system), Additional tasks (system migrations / supporting tech development, cross-border compliance, etc.);

    • Interface with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and communicate impacts and implement initiatives;

    • Provide support to staff to update processes, procedures and supporting functional and fund documentation;

    • Represent the team, as new regulation is implemented, and assist in determining the impact;

    • Develop status reports, issues logs and other event tracking and reporting tools;

    • Author communications to support initiatives and effectively communicate to a wide range of activities;

    • Establish, maintain, and optimize relationships with various groups across the organization.

    Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

    • B.S./B.B.A/B.A. in Finance or related-discipline

    • 5+ years work experience in business, project management, compliance, or other control team within the Alternatives Industry;

    • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic business environment and continually reprioritize to focus on the key issues / topics;

    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various businesses and key support functions;

    • Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills who can integrate effectively within a fast moving, driven team;

    • Ability to learn new concepts, systems, processes and initiatives;

    • Proven record of delivery of key business initiatives;

    • Ability to influence others and successfully navigate a complex internal infrastructure that involves numerous groups and individuals;

    • Strong business experience and product / process knowledge.

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

    • Experience in the hedge funds space a plus.
