    Responsibilities

    What You'll Do

    • Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Continuous Improvement, the asset manager is a critical part of the Asset Maintenance Improvement Team. The asset manager supports multiple programs to deploy asset maintenance plans and processes which reduce sustainment maintenance cost through the optimization of preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Works in close coordination with program maintenance teams to implement asset management strategies and tools to achieve a resulting reduced cost of maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develops Asset Maintenance Management Strategy for programs to reduce cost of preventative and corrective maintenance.

    • Communicates professionally, both orally and in writing, with the Client, Program Director and Deputy Director, Sr. Director, and subordinates, as needed, to relay information.

    • Analyze and assess programs, policies and operational needs and make appropriate adjustments.

    • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

    • Is innovative in approach to look at ways to overall improve programs asset & operational improvements for efficiencies.

    • The asset Managers will build and maintain effective working relationships with Program Managers, Operations Managers, and Division/Function management teams.

    • This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

    • Performs other duties as required.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

    • Experience:

    • Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in a maintenance management position at manager level or higher. (Military NCO Level course equivalent accepted.)

    • Experience in facility, equipment and asset maintenance management in the Defense Sector.

    • Proven experience writing engineering change request proposals, maintenance engineering applications and developing tolerances, specifications and test data.

    • Other Requirements:

    • United States citizenship

    • CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

    • Knowledge of how to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

    • Demonstrated discretion, judgement, problem solving and analytical skills.

    • Business/Asset Manager Acumen:

    • Proven Asset or Equipment Maintenance Management skills.

    • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

    • Business Partner/Effective Communication:

    • Excellent communication skills, ability to influence change to achieve results.

    • Able to read, write and understand technical data, drawings, manuals, schematics, and blueprints including technical and functional expertise.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence with the ability to collaborate and engage key constituents at all levels of the company and customer management.

    • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to include the ability to prepare and present technical briefings that are easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences. in a manner understandable to high level company leadership and clients.

    • Collaboration and Teamwork/Influence:

    • Posses a collaborative work style that fosters cooperation, and builds and maintains relationships.

    • Ability to establish working relationships with other companies, technical staff, managers and peers.

    • Fosters effective teamwork between programs and departments.

    • Software:

    • High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other related applications.

    • Technology:

    • Personal computer, printer, copy machine, data devices, and other general office equipment.

    • The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

    • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

    • USD $90,000 - 120,000

    • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
