    Your Role at KIK

    As an Assistant Controller in a manufacturing setting, your role is pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of the company's operations. Your role is multifaceted, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to diverse audiences. By effectively managing financial resources and supporting business objectives, you contribute to the overall success and sustainability of the organization. This role will require you to be onsite at our Conyers, GA facility, Monday-Friday.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Manages the period-end close process including the preparation of financial reports and analysis.

    • Prepares account reconciliations and analyses on a timely basis.

    • Variance Analysis and communication to plant and divisional management.

    • Maintains and establishes internal controls.

    • Assists with budgeting and forecasting processes.

    • Maintenance of the general ledger and supporting documentation.

    • Preparation of sales tax returns.

    • Assists with development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.

    • Coordinates with internal and external auditors.

    • Assists with product margin analysis & reports findings to the controller.

    What You'll Bring

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required, MBA/CMA is an asset.

    • At least 3 years' experience in a plant accountant position in manufacturing or 2 years in Public Accounting conducting audits of manufacturing clients.

    • SAP experience required.

    • At least 1 year of hands-on plant cost accounting function preferred.

    • Proficiency with US GAAP, accounting knowledge specific to manufacturing

    • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
