The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for:

The Assistant Nurse Manager is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills. Supports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating process. Proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a brad level of accountability for outcomes. Provides 24 hour/ 7 day accountability care for assigned patients.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Required

Experience:

• Required 2 years acute care

• Preferred 1 year of leadership

Specific Skills:

• Critical thinking and the ability to multi-task

• Written and verbal communication skills

Location: South Florida Baptist

Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes

Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Shift: Shift 1

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: Yes
