    Assistant Property Custodian

    KBR is seeking a Property Custodian to support government customers in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The Assistant Property Custodian role provides custodian services for work spaces belonging to, and supporting the customer mission. The space management services include maintaining an up to date inventory of all contractor and government personnel supporting customer in support of a customer space plan. The space plan is coordinated with the front office to address conflicting needs between customer offices, and is critical for planning future staffing. The Assistant Property Custodian will also maintain an inventory of all software license, maintenance and support, and hardware assets required by customer to conduct their mission.

    Responsibilities :

    • Serve as room custodian for all customer spaces controlled by a badge reader. Perform space management for all customer assigned work spaces

    • Maintain a personnel inventory of all government and contractor employees supporting customer to include assigned work spaces

    • Maintain a space plan

    • Coordinate with customer front office staff to develop, update, and implement the space plan

    • Provide physical inventory verification for government furnished property (GFP) at all customer operational sites, and any contractor locations as specified by the COR.

    • Coordinate input & tracking of all GFP information in the Total Asset Management System (TAMS), or similar database as directed

    • Provide asset management for TAC GFP being held at contractor sites.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

    • Bachelors Degree in related field with at least four 4 of related technical experience (Additional professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

    • Collaborative, self-motivated, and efficient, with good business judgment and analytical skills

    • Innovative, working closely with STR's Contracts and Purchasing teams to optimize Government Property practices, while maintaining compliance with our core contractual and regulatory requirements

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to change

    • Superior interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external customers and partners as well as colleagues at all levels across the organization

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Security Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI (with poly preferred)
