    The Headlines

    In the role of Associate Media Manager working in Chicago, IL, you'll be responsible for influencing and executing the strategic vision for media investment across top Above Premium brands like Blue Moon, Simply Spiked, and Happy Thursday. The role is one of subject matter expertise, influence and evangelism, so it's important that this person is able to form strong relationships with their Brand Marketing teams, cross functional teams, our agencies, and external partners.

    The Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and consistently communicate a compelling media strategy which reinforces brand purpose to achieve business goals

    • Consult and influence planning activities for complex multimedia campaigns with big budgets, multiple partners, and stakeholders

    • Assist in the development of best practices for implementing strategic thinking for the enterprise

    • Demonstrate thought leadership by pushing for new directions and ideas

    • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities through new and existing partners

    • Responsible for driving media value with improving ROI

    • Assist in thought leadership on brand specific media plans from strategy to implementation

    • Manage multiple consumer targets including Hispanic and African American drinkers

    • Partner with media agency to test and learn against new opportunities that can scale

    • Participate in the annual brand planning process; responsible for identifying strategic insights through consumer media behavior, trends, past learnings, and category/purchase behavior

    • Help link national and local media to ensure complementary execution

    • Ensure that media plans and key elements thereof are effectively communicated throughout the system to maximize market level results

    • Video (TV, Digital, OTT) expertise and knowledge on Industry, Trends, pricing, etc., enabling superior buying and execution

    • Stewardship of social and programmatic investment for the large Above Premium brands and stewardship of total media investment for the smaller, regional brands

    • As a subject matter expert, provide on-going education to internal functions so that the enterprise can keep up with the pace of change in marketing.

    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and audience composition requirements

    The Other Qualifications -

    • Bachelor degree

    • Minimum of 5 years of media experience, with at least 2 years in digital media

    • Knowledge of media landscape with ability to translate to impact marketing opportunities

    • Well versed in traditional, digital, social, and programmatic media

    • Successful prior experience working with network of teams to translate marketing objectives into functional consumer channel strategies and tactics.

    • Proven ability to execute media and strategic partnerships that drive sales volume and brand perception shifts.

    • Solid quantitative skills to perform post-program analysis

    • Commitment to results; ability to incorporate new learning into existing plans and act decisively.
