Job Summary

This role is located in Charlotte, NC. Candidate must be willing to work on-site at least 3 days a week.

The Associate Sourcing Manager for the Service, Equipment & Supplies (SES) team will be responsible for executing, achieving and maintaining quality and efficiency standards based on purchasing processes through strong leadership and effective management while supporting organizational priorities and contributing to the strength of the company's financial position.

The dynamic team you will be joining is responsible for sourcing and negotiating best in class solutions for Non Food Supplies including Disposables, Equipment (including IT equipment and Technology solutions) and multiple types of Services that would be required by our wide customer base.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the key business stakeholders, conduct activities relating to negotiating, evaluating & selection of suppliers

• Analyze and interpret numerical data and perform financial analyses and price benchmarking

• Proactively identify opportunities and make recommendations as they relate to contract coverage, conversion opportunities, pricing/allowances, new programs, and contracts

• Develop, hone and execute new improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing

• Develop and manage project plans to ensure completion of required activities and achievement of business needs in the agreed timescales

• Work collaboratively with partners from other functional areas and the vendor community to deliver business objectives

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; significant related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

• Minimum of three years related experience in field

• Knowledge of purchasing procedures

• P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable

• Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet

• Must be adaptable to change and thrive in a dynamic environment

• Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

• Flexible and capable of handling and completing multiple competing tasks and priorities

• Ability to self-prioritize
