Duncan Solutions, a Navient company, is a full-service tolling and parking management company and a leading provider of parking management services to municipal and commercial clients, including citation processing, debt collections, and integrated parking management services.

This position is responsible for immobilizing scofflaw vehicles, handling in-person customer payments via cash, check, or credit card. Also responsible for coordinating vehicle tows for eligible vehicles. This position requires the ability to handle customer escalations, large volume cash handling, and a professional demeanor. Work location is 700 Hargrove St., Pittsburgh, PA

FULL- TIME role- earn $19.00/ hour PLUS PTO and other benefits!

Schedule - Monday-Friday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm

Responsibilities

1. Patrolling & Vehicle Immobilization

2. Patrol the city of Pittsburgh in search of Scofflaw vehicles

3. Identify scofflaw vehicles, immobilize by placing a boot on the wheel

4. Coordinate & communicate with other officers & teammates

5. Keep accurate and thorough records in log books and processing system (Auto-process)

6. Interact with vehicle owner/occupants, give information & provide direction as needed

7. Interface with Pittsburgh Police & towing contractor as needed

8. Complete daily report of patrol activities

9. Customer Service

10. Maintain professional appearance and demeanor for in-person customer interactions

11. Answer general customer questions regarding payment options based upon their unique account identification information

12. Responsible for closing and securing the payment lobby at the time designated by the company

13. Payment Desk and Deposit Reconciliation

14. Receives payments from customers in person

15. Responsible to secure monies.

16. Provide change and balance cash drawer

17. Track and archive payment transactions and account notes

18. Balance cash drawer and reconcile daily work

19. Create deposit and work with vendors to send to the bank and/or corporate office

20. Release & Tow Dispatch

21. Communicate with teammates in the field regarding the release of booted vehicles

22. Coordinate Tows with tow contractor

23. Record towed vehicles in processing system

24. Assist with monthly unclaimed vehicle auction

25. Supervise citizen access to vehicles in secure police impound

26. Authorize release of vehicles from police impound

27. Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma

• Prior experience in handling payments preferred

• Ability to perform basic mathematics

• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook

• Basic computer skills

• Valid Driver's License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational background in Safety & Security / Criminal Justice / Law Enforcement

• Experience in the fields of:

• Parking Enforcement

• Law Enforcement

• Security

• Loss Prevention

• Code Enforcement

• Experience with Auto-process

• Experience handling Cash & Credit Card Transactions
