Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle.
A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the product*s sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 - 7 years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales or sales management preferred. Marketing and business development experience preferred. Demonstrated aptitude for solving business problems using technology and applications. Ability to work with and communicate effectively with multiple colleagues in a team selling environment. Business and account planning implementation experience. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Strong executive selling skills as well as a demonstrated success in establishing and developing client relationships. *Field Enablement Specialist *
The mission of this role is to develop the curriculum strategy for the North American CX field teams and for the course development to support that strategy. Field Enablement will provide guidance in incorporating messaging into Oracle CX product and solution training. Field Enablement will work in conjunction with Field leadership on defining a prioritized list of sales training objectives for North America CX. A close relationship with the field organization, SMEs, product teams, Oracle CX OSPA, OCS services team and other key parties will be critical in fulfilling the mission of this role.
Develop the content for courses for presenting the Oracle CX story and positioning its suite of product and services as part of our CX sales plays
Develop and gain approval for the curriculum strategy for field training and Oracle CX solution positioning and ensure alignment with overall Oracle CX training approach.
Maintain and communicate the strategy through analysis of current courses/target audiences, required skills, existing skills and understanding of the relevant product roadmaps and overall solutions.
Deliver training sessions as needed at Oracle Campus, Sales Kick-off, QBR's, webinars and other channels as necessary.
Develop proposals for course updates and new courses for management approval. This includes assessment of the cost and benefit of the project.
Develop and maintain an internal and external ecosystem of SMEs and content providers, course developers and infrastructure.
Participate in cross-functional product teams to represent sales and business development
Evaluate success of training and adapt training approach depending on results
Define, select and implement the delivery approach and tools appropriate for the audience and content, reusing existing Oracle CX and Oracle CX OSPA processes and tools as much as possible
Participate in product release management meetings to gain knowledge of product release content to incorporate into future enablement training sessions.
Maintain analytical reporting and provide status reports to key executives on KPI's related to enablement activities.
Work with a cross-functional team consisting of sales, services, product, business development, solution engineering and marketing to provide input and feedback on sales enablement training content.
Slack and email monitoring for groups related to enablement/communications and coordination w/ appropriate team resources
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
8 years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales/field enablement or training.
Course content creation, delivery and planning experience.
