    Position Summary

    The Bridgestone Business Services (BBS) Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the BBS function's organizational processes and operations to ensure productivity and quality standards. In this role you will utilize your operational, project, and strategic business mindset to ensure our BBS function of more than 600 teammates in the US, Canada, and Latin America are enabled to deliver value to the organization by providing efficient, user friendly and compliant operational processes. Additionally, the role holds a shared responsibility for of creating a best-in-class experience to our stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Govern internal operational processes such as headcount management, financial benefit realization, intercompany billing, vendor management, intake to delivery, and communications.

    • Create, manage, and implement a strategic plan for BBS operations that aligns with the long-term vision of BBS

    • Oversee the analysis of departmental budgets, business case validation, and other financial operations to ensure the function is on track to deliver on financial goals.

    • Partner with the BBS leadership team and end users to ensure operational processes and controls are working effectively, approaching improvements with an agile mindset.

    • Administer master service agreements and statement of work agreements working cross functionally to ensure compliance.

    • Coordinates and oversees the execution of complex projects across the function, as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience; or equivalent work experience.

    • Prior experience in reporting tools such as PowerBI.

    • Prior experience with Project Management.

    • Previous experience managing people.
