    Certification Manager

    Responsibilities

    Accountable for:

    • She/He will be in charge for defining the Certification Management Plan, planning and budgeting the certification tasks

    • Defining Certification Plan, identifying & challenging legal requirements

    • Managing & Follow-up Certification Assessors

    • Obtaining Authorization To Run in Test

    Responsible for:

    • Selecting, clarifying Certification Requirement

    • Defining the means of proof to demonstrate the Certification compliance

    • Selecting Notified Body/Designated Body (NoBo/DeBo)

    • Collecting Certification proves

    • Evaluating document compliance, and obtaining expert opinion if necessary

    • Organizing assessment process

    • Preparing documentation & submitting it to Certification stake holders and managing Q&A with them (Authorities and assessors)

    • Producing (final) certification conformity table

    • Managing requirement for test area access (Track, test infrastructure)

    Knowledge & Experience

    • Bachelor Degree in Science of Engineering

    • Master Degree will be a diferential

    • Has knowledges and concepts of FRA and American railroad experiences

    • Some previous experience from Railroad companies in US will be a diferential

    • Mastering of Certification process (at least 3 years in Railways or Automotive domain or Aerospace domain)

    • Train system knowledge (at least 2 years)

    • Customer and external stakeholders Technical Management

    • Fluent in english

    • Required electrical habilitation levels; for instance (french definitions) : B0, H0

    • Stronger communication skills

    • Able to work as part of Core Team taking decisions and sharing with the coworkers at (or not) the same level
