CFO

Description Our reputable client is seeking a CFO to join the company. The CFO must have an ability to work well with the CEO, board members and other senior executives, as well as strong analytical, strategic-planning, operational and communication skills. A combination of industry and public accounting experience is preferred. If you are an experienced CFO looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.

What you get to do every day

• Own process improvement for the integrity of a company's financial information

• Manage internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures

• Strategically manage the accounting and finance functions

• Preside over independent auditor relationships

• Determine if cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations

• Oversee hiring, training, and retention of finance and accounting staff

• Own vendor relationships

• Manage upgrades and implementations for financial systems

• Recognize and manage insurance requirements and business risks

• Ensure staff compliance with state and federal laws and company's policies

• Handle investor and investment institution relationships

• Supervise all finance personnel Requirements - MBA, CPA, CGMA or CMA preferred

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

• Excellent leadership and organizational skills

• 5+ years' management experience

• Public accounting experience a plus

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• 10+ years' experience in accounting or finance

• Deep technical background in public accounting (GAAP)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
