    Chief Program Officer

    position.

    The

    Chief Program Officer (CPO)

    is a critical member of the executive management team

    and should

    be

    a

    vibrant person-centered leader,

    with

    the

    experience

    to

    guide

    multiple teams

    with

    comprehensive

    responsibilities.

    Position

    works in concert with the Chief Executive Officer,

    to

    ensure

    service

    excellence, operational

    efficiency

    , and

    compliance with relevant regulations.

    in addition to responding to grants and proposals.

    Assist

    the

    agency

    in

    developing

    and

    supporting

    a

    peer

    work

    force

    and

    develop

    new

    recovery

    -oriented

    services

    as

    opportunities

    arise.

    The

    CPO

    works

    in

    concert

    with HDSW

    administration

    to

    complete

    reports

    as

    required,

    represent the

    agency

    as

    community

    liaison

    and

    work with program Directors to

    maintain census, corporate compliance, quality

    improvement activities, and

    maintain revenue cycle management through

    Medicaid billing.

    In

    addition

    to

    other

    duties

    as

    assigned.

    The

    ideal

    candidate will

    be

    an

    intelligent individual with

    outstanding

    integrity

    and sound judgment,

    dedicated

    to

    ethical

    and

    efficient

    program

    operations

    with

    excellent

    negotiation

    and

    critical thinking skills

    ; willing

    to

    provide

    strategic

    vision

    and

    leadership

    both

    in

    client

    and financial

    metrics.

    The

    candidate

    will

    be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker

    with eight y

    ears minimum of

    progressively

    responsible

    supervisory

    experience

    and

    a

    strong

    background

    in

    program

    operations

    required.

    Experience

    working in various

    Medicaid

    Billing

    environments.

    Must

    have

    excellent

    communication

    skills and

    have

    EHR/Microsoft

    Office

    proficiency.

    Bi-lingual

    English

    and

    Spanish

    a

    plus.

    Must

    have

    own

    car

    and

    valid

    driver’s

    license.

    Willingness

    and

    capacity

    to

    work

    outside

    of

    traditional

    business

    hours

    as

    needed

    to

    meet

    agency needs.

    Ability

    to

    carry

    on-call

    and

    be

    available

    for

    assistance

    with crises

    and emergencies

    during

    off-duty

    hours.

    NYS Justice Center Criminal History background Check clearance through fingerprinting search is required, in addition to clearance through the Protection of People with Special Needs Staff Exclusion List, the NYS Medicaid Exclusion List, and clearance by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services for instance of child abuse and/or neglect.
