Commercial Tender & Project Controller

Execution Unit GT Storage is shaping the global transition towards a decarbonized world by developing new energy storage solutions.

We are searching for professionals who are willing to take on the challenge of developing a new battery storage application and establishing it successfully in the market.

In this role, you will work in close partnership with the Business Development Manager to acquire new business. You will be part of a bigger Commercial Sales Team and be responsible for the commercial execution of the newly acquired business throughout the whole life cycle of the project.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Financial execution of construction projects including creating sale orders and setting up projects in SAP, revenue recognition, invoicing and payment terms, maintenance of project costs, securities, taxes, and insurance requirements

• Project Controlling, Forecasting, and Reporting of financial status for a portfolio of dedicated projects

• Commercial support of tender activities, leading all commercial aspects of tender preparation up to bid submission and post-bid follow-up.

• Ensures the accuracy of project books and records and their compliance with financial guidelines.

• Support the Technical Project Manager in project steering /contract negotiations, accounting, and development of strategies or solutions.

What You Bring

• Experience in commercial aspects of execution and controlling of (construction) projects.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

• 5+ years of professional experience in the Finance and/or accounting field

• Detailed understanding of GAAP and IFRS, strong skills in PC applications, primarily SAP, and Microsoft Office, as well as strong analytical skills

• CPA, MBA, and PMI certifications are considered a plus.

• Work independently, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines; excellent teammate and open to learning.
