    Our client is currently hiring for an Assistant Project Manager that will Animal Hospital renovation projects. This role has the potential to be promoted into a Project Manager in 3 months. This person will be on site working side-by-side with the PM, & will report to the office/work from home when not on site at the Animal Hospital in Washington, DC. This candidate will be reporting mostly to the job sites, but will have some flexibility to work from home as well when needed to provide a good work/life balance within the role here. This candidate will be working on a few different NOVA commercial medical facility and dental renovation jobs. These are commercial interior projects that also involve using a lot of equipment, especially in doctor & dental facilities.

    They have a warehouse that they call their "satellite office", which is located in Rockville, MD, so that they have a home address for their website, however no one works out of that office full time. The PM's and supers report directly to the projects or work remotely from their homes, in order to save everyone time and money. The only two people that sit out of the physical office are the 2 owners. They are looking to find people who ideally live in DC so that they can support the majority of their projects which are located in the district, but also so that if a project ends up in VA or MD, this person is commutable to both ideally.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    1. 3+ years of commercial construction experience on relevant GC projects as an APM - Must do RFI's, paperwork, & submittals (must be able to read the drawings & make advising on those drawings)

    2. Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or 4+ years of total experience in construction as an APM (just needs to have run their own jobs in the 100k-800k range - large projects are not relevant).

    3. Has a PM/scheduling/budgeting software that they use well to manage small projects, and is able to perform normal financials, documentation, project scheduling, etc.
