  • Description:

    • Participate in pre-construction planning

    • Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to supervisor throughout project.

    • Explain, execute, and sign contracts with specified subcontractors.

    • Execute daily management of sub-contract excavators, concrete crews, framers, electricians, and equipment installers.

    • Responsible to have appropriate materials at project site in a timely fashion to meet contractors needs and project deadlines.

    • Schedule contractors in accordance with project scope to meet completion dates.

    • Complete daily inspection of contractor work to ensure quality standards are met so that issues are detected early in the project.

    • Receive and verify material shipment quantity and integrity

    • Communicate and/or resolve shipping schedules/conflicts with vendors or operations manager.

    • Know, follow and enforce company safety policies.

    • Know, follow and enforce company biosecurity requirements.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • High level of communication with production managers to achieve goals of both production and construction departments.

    • Must be willing to work a minimum of a 5 day and 40 hour work week with possibility of additional hours/days as work responsibilities dictate.

    • Understanding of production operations and biosecurity protocols.

    • Responsible for maintenance of company equipment (skid loader, trailers, vehicle, power tools, etc.)

    • Cleaning of company equipment to meet biosecurity requirements.

    • Maintain a clean and organized construction site and ensure neighboring properties are free of project debris.

    • Computer literate in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

    • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and important information in a timely manner.

    • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.

    • Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.

    • Ensures ethical representation in all facets of operations.

    • Ability to apply independent judgment in major areas of accountability.

    • Strict adherence to company confidentiality.
