    We are looking for a diligent Controller to join our team in Bradford, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, including reporting, consolidations, budgeting, and planning for our business segment. You will act as a liaison between operations, executive leadership, and corporate accounting finance. This role is pivotal in providing leadership within the business segment and maintaining financial integrity.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the entire segment accounting process, including financial reporting, analysis, and contractual matters.

    • Lead monthly and quarterly closing and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    • Work closely with business unit leaders to ensure financials accurately reflect business status and implement necessary controls for improved cost tracking and budgeting.

    • Identify financial risks and collaborate with business teams to develop and implement mitigation plans.

    • Drive operational performance through partnerships with business leaders, focusing on cost optimization, productivity, and inventory accuracy.

    • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to maintain integrity.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and practices in all business operations.

    • Provide Working Capital Management planning and reporting for the business unit, covering billing, collections, payables, and inventory.

    Requirements

    • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

    • Experience with ADP - Financial Services

    • Knowledge of DCAA compliance and regulations

    • Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

    • Ability to implement and manage ERP Solutions

    • Capable of overseeing all Accounting Functions

    • Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Experience in Auditing

    • Proficient in managing Budget Processes

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred

    • Relevant certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus

    • Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable
