    The role you'll contribute:

    The Core Manager Clinical Research Unit serves the AdventHealth Research Institute serves as a manager in the conduct of Phase I-IV industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials in accordance with trial protocols, FDA Regulations, and ICH/GCP Guidelines. As a member of the research team meets study-specific goals and timelines. Performs and assists with clinical tasks related to study-specific tests, procedures, and treatments within scope of practice as needed. Communicates appropriately and effectively with subjects, investigators, Project Managers (PM's), Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC's), and other AdventHealth Research Institute staff to serve as a participant advocate by reporting any participant needs, concerns, abnormalities, or adverse events to the Investigators and CRC's. Oversees the training of new CRU employees. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

    • Manages daily operations of the Clinical Research Unit including, but not limited to: CRU personnel and staffing schedules as affected by research protocols at any given time. Maintains inventory and provides quality assurance during the planning and execution of research protocols.Participates in research projects/planning and budget preparation. Utilizes resources in a cost-effective manner.

    • Participates in internal and/or external training programs, staying current and compliant on knowledge and skills applicable to assigned duties. Completes Employee Assessment Form and proactively plans for career development. Maintains professional knowledge and growth, as well as contributes to the growth of the team members.

    • Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the AdventHealth Research Institute.Communicates the need for new work and automatically looks for additional duties as workload permits.

    • Works as a member of the study-specific interdisciplinary team to execute research protocols based upon appropriate procedural methodology. Coordinates daily activities related to the nursing component of research studies for accuracy and timeliness

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • More than two years of experience as a Research Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse

    LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

    • Current, active State of Florida license as a Registered Nurse

    • Current BLS

    • Current ACLS
