    What You Can Expect

    Partner with the VP of Corporate Communications to implement product and corporate public relations (PR) activities, expand brand awareness and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms internally and externally at Zimmer Biomet (ZB). This role is focused on reinforcing ZB's brand and key messaging with strategically important stakeholders globally.

    How You'll Create Impact

    • Lead the implementation of corporate communications activities that align with and closely support the company's business plan, and tangibly contributes to its long-term success in the competitive environment.

    • Lead product PR campaigns and initiatives, in close collaboration with marketing and sales, clinical researchers, scientific advisory committees, regulatory, and legal

    • Management of agency relationships

    • Partner with VP, Corporate Communications to develop and direct the company's reputation management efforts to consistently and visibly reflect ZB's core values and brand to all stakeholder audiences in a way that builds trust and confidence in the company.

    • Develop, maintain, and enhance ZB's relationship with all media outlets to assure that the company brand is known, understood, and appreciated.

    • Collaborate with senior leaders to provide strategic counsel on issues management thought leadership and crisis communications, including potential response strategies and tactics.

    • Partner with internal business leaders as well as government relations, legal, investor relations and regional communicators to develop and implement communications plans designed to deliver clear and consistent messages to the media and other key external stakeholders. Ensure alignment and integrity in the use of ZB's brand with external audiences.

    • Develop strategic communication plans, press releases, key messages, presentations and talking points for use with the media, investors and analysts.

    • Partner closely with investor relations team on corporate messaging and corporate story.

    Your Background

    • Bachelor's Degree in journalism, communications, or related area.

    • 8+ years of experience in successfully developing and implementing corporate communications programs.

    • Agency experience helpful/preferred

    Travel Expectations

    • Up to 10% travel (dependent upon work location)
