    Job Description:

    At Regions, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Manager leads a team of CRA Specialists responsible for day-to-day technical compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). This position assists in the development and implementation of the CRA program and ensures complete and accurate data for CRA exams.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Ensures completion of all CRA technical compliance responsibilities

    • Analyzes regulatory requirements and evaluates Regions' compliance with CRA and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) regulations

    • Monitors regulatory changes to CRA, HMDA, and Riegle-Neal requirements and implements procedural modifications as necessary

    • Implements program for collecting and reporting CRA exam data

    • Provides business units and senior management with reports, charts/graphs, and maps for evaluation of performance under CRA and HMDA regulations

    • Monitors data accuracy reviews and reports results to management

    • Interacts and collaborates with business units to ensure appropriate actions are taken on data accuracy issues

    • Oversees the assembly and review of files for internal audits and annual reviews by the Federal Reserve Examiners

    • Develops and conducts training for personnel related to CRA and HMDA requirements

    • Completes and submits the Bank Enterprise Award (BEA) application, coordinates receipt of BEA funds, and monitors use of funds to ensure compliance with award requirements

    This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

    This position is incentive eligible.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree

    • Eight (8) years of experience working with commercial or consumer loans and/or regulatory compliance experience

    • Experience working as an underwriter or loan processor

    Skills and Competencies

    • Ability to learn additional systems as needed

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

    • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts

    • Ability to supervise and manage a team

    • Ability to work in a team environment when applicable

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

    • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

    Compensation Details

    Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

    The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

    $119,563.20 USD

    Median:

    $154,520.00 USD

    Incentive Pay Plans:

    This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.
