What You Can Expect
Responsible for developing and implementing Corporate Sales strategies and tactics to maximize ZB enterprise sales growth for assigned Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs).
How You'll Create Impact
Develop sustainable, strategic partnerships with healthcare executives at ASCs to maximize effectiveness with clinicians and other critical decision makers, driving account growth and mindshare
Directly responsible for contract strategy to increase Zimmer Biomet market share and overall profitability
Responsible for creation and delivery of key account/regional business plans that address the goals of Zimmer Biomet and ASC customers
Accountable for customer negotiations, contract strategy and proposal, and vetting product pricing for assigned ASC accounts
Prepare customized account proposals in partnership with internal and external resources based on financial analyses, customer needs assessments, and revenue goals
Aligns commercial and internal marketing resources to ensure portfolio pipeline adequately supports customer needs
Identifies and develops plans to actualize sales potential in the ASC customer segment
Develops and fosters contact and rapport within the Zimmer Biomet distributor network, and coordinates outside contacts with internal Zimmer Biomet personnel when applicable
Develops and maintains strong relationships within the broader medical community
Conducts informal market research to identify ASC market needs and challenges, which drive pipeline discussions with the ASC Solutions business unit
Develops and maintains expertise in healthcare economics and orthopedic clinical product line from a healthcare provider point of view
Ability to interact and engage with C-Suite, and other executives in understanding key clinical product lines, changing reimbursement trends and drivers to optimize an ASC's bottom line, and apply and convey Zimmer Biomet solutions that create a positive impact to an ASC's clinical outcomes and financial performance
What Makes You Stand Out
Demonstrated excellence with oral and written communication skills, along with constructing business presentations
Demonstrated ability to use good analytical and problem-solving skills
Influence the direction of key decision makers and influencers
Knowledge of Orthopedic medical device business and market
Knowledge of ASC healthcare economics, and clinical product line workflow
Process rigor and ability to understand inefficiencies in a workflow
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to develop detailed, action oriented, multi-level sales strategies aimed at growing share over an extended period of time
Your Background
A minimum Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business, marketing, sales or equivalent
MBA desirable
Contract management and negotiation experience required
Previous experience working directly with ASCs required
A minimum 7 years of orthopedic marketing/sales experience
Customer and Enterprise Leadership experience in ASCs preferred
Experience with joint value creation and customer solutions in ASCs preferred
Strong negotiation skills required
Travel Expectations
